The Georgia Mountain Parkway’s 100-plus miles, begins at the junction where US/575 north from Atlanta intersects GA/515, and becomes US/76/GA/515. Highway 515 is also known as the Zell Miller Parkway, in honor of mountain native and former Georgia Governor Zell Miller. Governor Miller was instrumental in establishing GA/515 as a four-lane corridor thru the upper Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, opening a mountain gateway for greater growth and tourism. A printed map of the Georgia Mountain Parkway can be found at the Blairsville Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center.
